Componentă a sistemului fotovoltaic, invertorul transformă curentul continuu (DC) produs de panourile fotovoltaice, în curent alternativ (AC)- utilizat in rețeaua publică.

Invertorul “Hibrid” utilizează energia produsă de panourile fotovoltaice pentru autoconsum, iar surplusul poate fi transmis in rețeaua de distribuție sau stocat in acumulatori, combinând astfel, funcțiile invertoarelor “On-grid” (conectate la rețea) cu cele “Off-grid”(independente de rețea).
